At 2:45pm on Monday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Knapton Close, Smiths parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 11:30am and 1pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
While we are disappointed that the Bermuda Police Service yet again has not been given the specifics of The Sun's Omnibus survey so that we can adequately respond to the concerns levied, the Service is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for everyone living in Bermuda.
Around 6:45 this morning, Police received a report of a theft from the Beacon Hill Road, Sandys parish bus depot. The complainant stated that sometime between 6pm on Wednesday and 6am on Thursday, an unknown culprit gained entry into four parked buses and stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 3pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported burglary at the Brunswick Street Bakery in Pembroke. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7pm on Saturday and 11am on Sunday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the store. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
