Burglary

Around 3pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported burglary at the Brunswick Street Bakery in Pembroke. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7pm on Saturday and 11am on Sunday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the store. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 6:50pm on Friday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Skyline Road, Smiths parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8:15am and 6:05pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Theft

At 1:10pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a theft from a construction site at the junction of Mill Creek Road and Mill Creek Lane in Pembroke. The complainant stated that sometime between 12 noon on Sunday, June 10 and 2pm on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 an unknown culprit or culprits stole 36 sheets of plywood. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 11:45am on Friday, Police attended another reported theft from the construction site at the junction of Mill Creek Road and Mill Creek Lane in Pembroke. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime around 10:20am that day, two unknown culprits entered the site in a truck and stole 10 more sheets of plywood. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 2 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 7 reported burglaries (2 in Hamilton parish, 2 in Smiths parish, 2 in Pembroke and 1 in Sandys parish). There were also 26 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 6 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 7 vehicles reported taken without their owners consent.
