Theft

At 2:35pm on Monday, Police attended a reported theft from a Clock Tower Mall, Dockyard business. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant (an employee) who stated that sometime earlier that day, an unknown culprit stole her purse from the clothing store. The purse contained a quantity of cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The Bermuda Police Service is advising the public that there will be a Maritime Security Exercise in the Town of St. George tomorrow, Wednesday, May 16, from 9am until 12 noon. No traffic will be allowed in the area of King's Square during that time and Police will be diverting traffic away from the area.

Burglary

At 6pm on Monday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Cochrane Road, Sandys parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 7am and 6pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and CDs. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
