Around 9:30pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported robbery on South Road in Southampton. On arrival officers spoke with the victims, a 48 year old man and a 47 year old woman (husband & wife) who are American visitors to the island. Around 8:30pm the visitors left their Southampton hotel to go to a South Road, Southampton restaurant.
Around 3:50pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury near the junction of Brunswick Street and Dundonald Street in Pembroke involving a car and a pedestrian.
At 3:45 this morning, Police received a report of a theft. The complainant, a 63 year old Warwick man (who is a taxi driver), stated that he was near the junction of Front Street and Parliament Street in the City of Hamilton around 3am when he was approached by a 31 year old Pembroke woman.
Around 10:25pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a South Road, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8am and 8pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole approximately $650 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
At 8am on Monday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Camden North Road, Paget property. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 5:30pm on Saturday and 6:45am on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into a tool shed on the premises.
At 11am on Sunday, Police attended KEMH after a report of an assault. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 29 year old Hamilton parish man. He stated that around 1:15am that day he was at the bar of the Hamilton Parish Workman's Club when he was approached by the suspect, a 19 year old Hamilton parish man. The suspect is known to the victim.
Around 4:55 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Harrington Sound Road in Smith's parish, near the junction with Odyssey Drive. It appears that the car was traveling west on Harrington Sound Road when the driver lost control attempting to negotiate a sharp left hand bend and collided with a wall.
Around 9:50pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Middle Road and Rose Hill Road in Southampton involving two cars. Details about the collision remain unclear; however the driver of the car, a 50 year old Sandy's parish man, was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
The following six vehicles have been removed from various locations around the island in the past few months and have not been recovered.
At 9pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at an Ocean Lane, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 5pm on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 and 8pm on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 an unknown culprit gained entry into his residence. The culprit stole a silver Apple laptop computer and an unknown amount of DVDs.
