At 9pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at an Ocean Lane, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 5pm on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 and 8pm on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 an unknown culprit gained entry into his residence. The culprit stole a silver Apple laptop computer and an unknown amount of DVDs. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 5pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Witchery Lane, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7:30am and 4:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole five pairs of earrings, a gold bracelet, a watch, $35 in cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The Bermuda Police Service has noticed a recent increase in reported incidents of breaking and entering in the Warwick area, specifically in the vicinity of Middle Road, South Road, Ord Road, Spring Hill and Dunscombe Road. We are advising residents in these areas in particular to secure their residences, locking all doors and windows before leaving them unattended.
