Around 7:45pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported robbery at Arnold's Express (the old Dismount Robinson's store) at the junction of Front Street and King Street in the City of Hamilton. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 51 year old Sandy's parish man, who is the store manager.
The Bermuda Police Service is currently conducting inquiries into a series of sexual assaults in Southampton, Warwick and Paget which we believe may be linked. In the past several months, women have reported to the Police that they have been awoken during the early morning hours by a male who has assaulted them.
At 12:35 this morning, Police attended a reported robbery at a Highwood Lane, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 47 year old Paget man, who stated that around 12:20am as he attempted to enter his apartment two men approached him and demanded money. The 47 year old refused, and a struggle ensued.
The Bermuda Police Service (including members of the Bermuda Reserve Police) had adequate resources on duty during Halloween night and into this morning to respond to any incidents that occurred. Officers patrolled island wide, dealing with a variety of calls for service. There were 16 arrests made in total (including 5 arrests on Court Street in Pembroke) for the following offences:

At 10:45pm on Sunday, Police attended Captain's Lounge on Reid Street in the City of Hamilton following a reported disturbance. On arrival officers observed a crowd of approximately 20 people gathered outside the premises. Seven men were arrested in the area (ranging in age from 19 - 26 years old) for various offences including outstanding warrants and offensive words.
At 11:45pm on Friday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Devonshire near the junction with Garthowen Road. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling east on Middle Road when the rider lost control, colliding with the sidewalk. As a result, the motorcycle received front end damage.
At 3:35 this morning, Police were on mobile patrol traveling east on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Radnor Road when they observed a white car traveling in the opposite direction at a high rate of speed. After passing the Police vehicle it appears the driver of the car lost control, causing the vehicle to cross the road and end up overboard.
Around 10:20am on Tuesday, Police attended a report of a swimmer in difficulty at Horseshoe Bay beach on South Road in Southampton. It appears that around 10:10am the victim's wife and sister were swimming at Horseshoe Bay when they experienced some difficulty with the rip tide.
Around 8:40pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Heathcote Hill and Sound View Road in Sandy's parish involving a car and a motorcycle.
