Around 11:40am on Wednesday, March 11th first responders attended a reported collision on Crow Lane in the City of Hamilton outside of Great Things involving a bus.
Apparently five passengers on the bus were injured; however their injuries are not considered to be serious. An update on those injured will be given as soon as more details are available.
Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Sean Field Lament - I can confirm that the Bermuda Police Service is currently conducting an investigation targeting local offenders. There may be criminal offences in regards to illegal use of the internet and possibly pedophile related charges. Police are actively investigating the matter under Superintendent Detective James Howard and Detective Inspector Mark Clarke as we speak and it would be inappropriate to give further details as this may hinder the investigation in its earliest stages.
Acting Chief Inspector Tracy Burgess – The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service, Department of Corrections, Bermuda Regiment and the Bermuda Police Service have joined forces again this year to raise money for charitable cause through their Annual Inter-Service Charity Golf Tournament. The Coalition for the Protection of Children and The Centre Against Abuse have been selected as our charities of choice for this event and all proceeds will be divided equally and donated to these charities.
At last check the 48 year old male worker injured in an industrial accident Thursday morning at the Botanical Gardens was in critical condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit. An investigation into this incident is ongoing.
Around 9:05am on Thursday, March 5th police and first responders attended an industrial accident that took place at the Botanical Gardens in Paget. It appears that a 48 year old Devonshire male became trapped under a piece of heavy machinery. He was eventually freed and transported to KEMH where he is being treated for unspecified injuries. A Health and Safety officer from the Department of Health was present and an investigation into this incident is ongoing.

At the event area residents will have the opportunity to meet their Community Action Team officer(s), discuss any community issues they may have and receive crime prevention advice.
Around 9:30am on Monday, March 2nd first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Woodlands Road, Serpentine Road and Par-La-Ville Road in Pembroke.
It appears that a car driver and a motorcycle rider were attempting to negotiate the round-a-bout at that location when their vehicles collided.
The 24 year old male driver injured in a reported single car collision that occurred around 3:05am Saturday, February 28th on North Shore Road in Devonshire, near the junction with Palmetto Road, has since been discharged from the hospital.
Inquiries regarding this collision continue and any witnesses should contact Constable Thomas Greenslade at the Hamilton Police Station on telephone number 247-1704.
The motoring public is advised to expect delays in the Harbour Road, Paget area near the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club, due to roadwork.
Morning commuters are advised to obey the temporary traffic lights in the area and consider taking alternate routes if possible.

Around 3:05am on Saturday, February 28th first responders were dispatched to a reported single vehicle collision on North Shore Road in Devonshire, near the junction with Palmetto Road.
It appears that a car being driven along North Shore Road collided with roadside barriers.
Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel had to extricate the injured driver, believed to be a 24 year old Pembroke man, from the vehicle.
