At 7:45 this morning, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Southampton near Traditions Restaurant. Details are unclear; however, it appears that an 8 year old girl was walking across the pedestrian crossing when a motorcycle traveling west overtook a car and struck her. She was taken to KEMH for treatment of bruising and released.
Around 3:55 this morning, Police received a report of a theft from a boat. The complainant stated that sometime between 11pm on Wednesday and 2:30am on Thursday an unknown culprit stole a 35 lb. anchor, a 75 lb. anchor and 200 feet of rope from his sailboat moored in Stocks Harbour, St. George’s. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Breaking & Entering
At 7:10am on Tuesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at B&M Excavating and Trucking Ltd. at Well Bottom, Warwick. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 5:30pm on Monday and 6:45am on Tuesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the premises. The culprit stole $840 in cash and four cheques. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
At 7:15pm on Monday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at an Astwood Close, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 2pm and 6:45pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a grey Audiovox cellular phone and a grey LG cellular phone. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 1:50pm today, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Devonshire in the area of Chaingate Hill. It appears that a 12 year old Warwick boy was riding a bicycle on the premises of a day care when he lost control and collided with a car traveling west on Middle Road.
Around 3:15pm on Saturday, Police received a report of a sudden death at a Moores Lane, Pembroke property. The victim, 62 year old Robert Santos of Southampton, was pronounced dead around 4:05pm at the scene by an on call physician. Foul play has not been ruled out. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.

September 5, 2005 will mark the second anniversary of Hurricane Fabian and the tragic loss of Police officers Stephen Symons and Nicole O'Connor, Station Duty Officer Gladys Saunders and Corporation of Hamilton worker Manuel Pacheco.
Around 5 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Grape Bay Drive, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that they awoke around 4:45am to find an unknown man in their home. The male complainant chased the suspect, who was able to make good his escape on foot. The culprit stole $200 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 48 year old Louis Robert Barry of Maryland, U.S.A. was as a result of natural causes. Mr. Barry was found in an unresponsive state around 12:35pm on Thursday in a room at a Southampton guest property. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.
Around 5:05 this morning, Police attended a reported theft from Tobacco Bay beach in St. George’s. On arrival officers spoke with a male visitor to the island. He stated that sometime between 3:30am and 4:55am today, his wallet was removed from his clothing which was left in the bar area while he went for a swim. The wallet contained personal items and a LG cellular phone.
