Burglary

At 1:15am today, Police attended a reported burglary at a Southcourt Avenue, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 9pm Tuesday and midnight Wednesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home. The culprit stole a laptop computer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Blue Heron

The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) would like to advise the public that the former Police vessel 'Blue Heron' is in the process of being sold to interested parties by means of sealed bid tenders.

The vessel can be viewed by interested parties on Monday, November 27, 2006 from 10am onwards outside the BPS Marine Unit offices at Barr's Bay Park in the City of Hamilton.

Burglary

At 5pm on Monday, Police attended a reported burglary at a South Road, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 6:30am and 4pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole several items of jewelry, an Olympus digital camera in a black photography bag with accessories and a laptop computer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Serious Sexual Assault

The Bermuda Police Service is investigating a serious sexual assault that took place in Pembroke during the early morning hours of Sunday, November 12, 2006. Currently Police have a man in custody assisting with inquiries into the incident.
