Laser Speed Checks

Between 4:35pm and 7:55pm on Monday, Police conducted laser speed checks in St. George's parish and the Town of St. George. During this time period, 6 individuals were caught traveling at speeds ranging from 61 km/h to 73 km/h.
Of particular note:
- A tractor trailer was stopped after being clocked traveling at 72 km/h in St. George's parish.
- An individual was stopped after being clocked traveling at 73 km/h within the Town of St. George.
Breaking & Entering
Around 6am on Monday, Police received a report of a breaking and entering at Riddell's Bay Golf Club on Riddell's Bay Road in Warwick. The complainant stated that sometime between 8pm on Sunday and 5:30am on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into a maintenance building on the premises. The culprit stole a DeWalt jack hammer, a Makita chop saw, a Toshiba laptop computer, a CD burner and various other tools. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
