Confirmed Firearm Incident in Sandys Parish - Around 1:30am on Saturday, October 27th police officers responded to reports of gun shots in the Greenfield Lane, Long Bay Lane Sandys parish area. Forensic evidence found at the scene confirmed that a firearm was discharged in that area; however there were no reported injuries.
The area was secured and an active investigation has commenced into this confirmed firearm incident.

Collision in Devonshire
Around 12 noon on Friday, October 26th police and first responders attended a reported collision in the area of Palmetto Road and Roberts Avenue in Devonshire. It appears that a motorcycle was being ridden along Palmetto Road when a collision occurred with a pedestrian. As a result both the motorcyclist, a 25 year old Warwick man and the pedestrian, a 61 year old Pembroke man, were injured; however their injuries are not considered life threatening. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing.
