Two Men Arrested, Firearm Seized After Reported Armed Burglary - Around 1am on Tuesday, July 24th police responded to a report of an armed burglary that took place at a Pembroke residence. Reports indicate that a man armed with a bladed article and what was reported as a firearm broke into the dwelling and assaulted one of the occupants, who was subsequently taken to the hospital with a laceration to the shoulder. The victim was treated and later released.
As a result of this incident two Pembroke men were arrested very soon after near the scene and a firearm was seized.

Serious Collision Victim Airlifted Overseas
The 19 year old male motorcyclist from Devonshire injured in a reported serious single vehicle collision that occurred along North Shore Road in Devonshire in the vicinity of Barkers Hill around 7:55pm on Monday, July 23rd has been flown overseas for further medical treatment. Update: Serious Collision Victim Recovering
The 26 year old male motorcyclist from Sandys parish injured in a reported serious single vehicle collision that occurred along Harbour Road in Warwick near the junction with Morgan Road around 6:40pm on Sunday, July 22nd is now on a general ward in stable condition at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
