Collision in Paget - Around 3:55am on Sunday, July 8th police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle collision on South Road in Paget near the junction with Southcote Road. Details are unclear at this time; however it appears that a car was traveling along South Road when it went over an embankment. The occupants reportedly sustained minor injuries as a result. The driver was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing.

Collision in Sandys Parish

Around 6:15pm on Saturday, July 7th police and first responders attended a reported collision on Somerset Road in Sandys parish near the junction with Heydon Gardens. Details are unclear at this time; however it appears that a motorcycle and a car towing a trailer with a jet ski were traveling along Somerset Road when the collision occurred. The rider of the motorcycle, believed to be a 51 year old Sandys parish man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. There were no other injuries reported. Traffic was diverted away from the scene while collision investigators conducted their inquiries; however that section of road was later re-opened. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing.
