Drug Seizures

On Thursday 16th February 2012, officers from the Public Protection Department of the Bermuda Police Service conducted a search warrant at a Nantucket Lane, Smith’s address. Significant quantities of suspected illegal drugs were seized, along with other items. As a result, two persons were arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.
On Friday 17th February 2012, officers from the Public Protection Department of the Bermuda Police Service conducted a search warrant at a Schools Drive, Devonshire address. At the residence, officers seized a significant quantity of suspected controlled drugs. As a result a 43 year old male and a 27 year old female, both from Devonshire, were arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.
All four arrested individuals were subsequently released on police bail. Inquiries into these matters are ongoing.
