Impaired Driver - Around 3:30am on Sunday January 22nd, police officers on mobile patrol along Middle Road, Paget noticed a car that was driving in an erratic manner near the junction with Chapel Road. The driver, a 37 year old Warwick man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving as a result. He subsequently failed the alco-analyser test and was detained in police custody. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
Weekend Police Activity
Over the weekend, police officers arrested 16 people for outstanding warrants. Officers also arrested two people for impaired driving and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
