Third Man Arrested in Connection With Murder Investigation - In relation to the murder of Mr. Stefan Burgess, the Serious Crime Unit has arrested a third person, a 32 year old man, on suspicion of murder.
The pace of the investigation is steady, and information continues to come to the attention of investigators who are following up several lines of enquiry.
The two men initially arrested in connection with this incident remain in police custody and detectives continue to encourage anyone with any information to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1079 or the Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.
Impaired Driver
Around 10:55pm on Monday January 9th, police officers on mobile patrol along North Shore Road, Pembroke noticed a car that was driving in an erratic manner. The driver, a 65 year old Pembroke man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving as a result. He was detained in police custody. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
