Impaired Drivers - Around 2:40am on Monday January 9th, a car was travelling along Crow Lane, Pembroke near the junction with Corkscrew Hill when it was caused to stop by police officers on mobile patrol. The driver, a 29 year old Southampton man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving as a result. He was detained in police custody. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
Around 3:15am on Monday January 9th, police officers on mobile patrol along Par-La-Ville Road, Pembroke noticed a car that was driving in an erratic manner. The driver, a 29 year old Warwick man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving as a result. He was detained in police custody. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
Weekend Police Activity
Over the weekend, police officers arrested 11 people for outstanding warrants. Officers also conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
