Impaired Driving - Around 2:30pm on Tuesday December 20th, police attended a reported collision on York Street in St. George’s. It appears that a bus was stationary at a bus stop and a motorcycle was travelling along York Street when the collision occurred. There were no reported injuries. The rider of the motorcycle, a 49 year old St. George’s man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and released on police bail. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.

Around 9pm on Tuesday December 20th, police and first responders attended a single vehicle collision on Harrington Sound Road in Hamilton parish. It appears that a motorcycle was travelling along Harrington Sound Road when it collided with a wall. The rider, a 51 year old Warwick man sustained minor injuries and was conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance where he was treated and released. The Warwick man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and released on police bail. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
