Impaired Driving - Around 12:30am on Saturday, police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision at the junction of South Road and Point Finger Road in Paget. It appears that a car was traveling along Point Finger Road when it collided with a wall at the junction. The driver, a 28 year old Hamilton parish man, was not injured; however the vehicle received extensive front end damage. The driver was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.

Weekend Police Activity

Over the weekend, police officers arrested 19 people for outstanding warrants. Officers also conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
