Investigation into Reported Shooting Incident

The Bermuda Police Service Serious Crime Unit is investigating a reported shooting incident outside the Western Stars (Dandy Town) Football Club in Pembroke. The incident occurred at about 8:45pm Thursday 8th December, 2011.
No one was injured in the incident, however it is believed a firearm was discharged from Bakery Lane into the grounds of Western Stars Club by a gunman on a motorcycle. The gunman then entered St. John’s Road and travelled west on that road.
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of TWOC and detectives are examining any linkages between the two incidents.
Detectives are interested in speaking with anyone that may have information relating to, or witnessed this incident.
