Arrests Regarding Recent Burglaries - Four teenagers were recently arrested in connection with a St. George’s burglary that occurred on Friday November 18th 2011. The young men have since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
A man in his forties was arrested in connection with a Warwick burglary shortly after it occurred on Saturday November 26th 2011. He remains in custody as a court appearance is anticipated.
Items of stolen property relating to both burglaries were subsequently recovered.
Members of the public are once again encouraged to report any suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods to the police by contacting 295-0011.
Weekend Police Activity
Over the weekend, police officers arrested 31 people for outstanding warrants. Officers also conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
