Collision in St. George’s - Around 7:45pm on Sunday November 20th, police and first responders attended a collision at the junction of Mullet Bay Road and Wellington Slip Road in St. George’s. It appears that two motorcycles were travelling along Mullet Bay Road when they collided. Traffic was delayed as a result. One of the riders, a 21 year old St. George’s man was injured. He is currently in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in stable condition. The other rider, a 25 year old St. George’s man was not injured. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.
Stolen Vehicle – Recovered
The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating a black Hyundai i20 that was reported stolen on Thursday November 17th. The car was recovered by police on Sunday November 20th in the Parsons Road, Pembroke area. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.
Weekend Police Activity
Over the weekend, police officers arrested 18 people for outstanding warrants. Officers also arrested 6 people on suspicion of impaired driving and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
