Collision/Impaired Driver - Around 10:15pm on Monday October 31st, police responded to a collision on Middle Road, Devonshire near the junction of Chaingate Hill. It appears that two cars were travelling along Middle Road when they collided. After the collision, a confrontation took place between the drivers, a 42 year old Devonshire woman and a 26 year old Pembroke woman. The Devonshire woman then left the scene. The 26 year old was not injured. The 42 year old Devonshire woman was later arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and assault. She is scheduled to appear in court today regarding this incident.
Halloween Policing Wrap Up
The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their cooperation during Halloween. Police officers were out on patrol from Monday October 31st into Tuesday November 1st and despite several reports of eggs being thrown Monday evening, there were no reported injuries or reports of damaged property.
