Police Investigate Incident in Warwick Area - At 9:30pm on Wednesday October 19th police responded to an incident in the Spicery Road, Warwick area. Details are unclear at this time; however two 17 year old men were injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of stab wounds. One of the victims was later released while the other remains in hospital. At last check he was in the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition. Two men, a 35 year old and a 31 year old, have been arrested in connection with this incident. Officers conducted inquiries at the scene and collected forensic evidence for examination. Collision/Impaired Driver
At 12:30am on Thursday October 20th police responded to a report of a collision on Somerset Road, near the junction of Scaur Lane in Sandys parish. It appears that a car and an SUV were travelling along Somerset Road when they collided. The driver of the SUV, a 29 year old Southampton man fled the scene but later attended Somerset Police Station where he was arrested and detained on suspicion of impaired driving. The driver of the car, a 49 year old Sandys woman was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
