Collision in Pembroke - At 7:30am on Monday October 17th, police responded to a report of a collision on North Shore Road, Pembroke near West Pembroke School between two cars and a truck. It appears that the three vehicles were travelling along North Shore Road when they collided. The driver of one of the cars, a 34 year old Pembroke man and the driver of the truck, a 60 year old Pembroke man were conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not life threatening. The other car driver, a 54 year old Pembroke woman was uninjured. All three vehicles were damaged. An investigation into this incident is underway. Weekend Police Activity
Over the weekend, police officers arrested 4 people on suspicion of impaired driving. Police also arrested 9 people for outstanding warrants and conducted 17 liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
