Man Injured At Nightclub - Around 12:25am on Sunday, police and first responders attended a reported incident at Captain’s Lounge on Reid Street in the City of Hamilton. Details about what occurred are unclear at this time; however a 32 year old man was found injured at the bottom of the stairs. The victim was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment and at last check was in the Intensive Care Unit. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Any witnesses or anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.
Weekend Police Activity
Over the weekend there were 4 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. Police officers also arrested 15 people for outstanding warrants and conducted 7 liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
