Single Vehicle Collision - At approximately 4:30am on Tuesday August 23rd, police responded to a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harbour Road, Paget near the junction with Chapel Road. It appears that a motorcycle was travelling on Harbour Road when it collided with a wall. The rider, a 31 year old Sandys parish man, was injured and transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance. At last check, he was listed in critical condition. Motorists were diverted away from the area while Traffic Collision Investigators examined the scene. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing. Road Traffic Collision

Around 4:00pm on Friday August 19th, police responded to a report of a traffic collision on Pitts Bay Road, Pembroke. It appears that the two vehicles, a car and a motorcycle, collided at the junction of Pitts Bay Road and Serpentine Road. The rider of the motorcycle, a 23 year old Sandys man, sustained leg injuries and was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance. He was subsequently flown overseas for further treatment but his injuries are not considered to be life threatening. The driver of the car, a 64 year old Paget woman, was not injured.
