Road Traffic Collision - Around 8:15pm on Tuesday August 16th, Police responded to a report of a road traffic collision at the junction of Middle Road and Keith Hall Road, Warwick. It appears that an auxiliary cycle and a car were travelling along Middle Road when they collided. The rider of the cycle, an 18 year old Paget man, was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance. His injuries are not considered to be serious. The driver of the car, a 42 year old Sandys man, was not injured. Motorists were diverted away from the area while Traffic Collision Investigators examined the scene. Impaired Driver

Around 2:45am on Wednesday August 17th, Police attended a single vehicle collision on Middle Road, Paget. On arrival, officers noticed an unoccupied car that had collided with a wall. The driver, a 22 year old Southampton man, soon returned to the scene and was arrested and detained on suspicion of impaired driving. He subsequently failed the alco-analyser test.
