No Major Incidents During Cup Match Weekend

The Cup Match holiday was a relatively safe one with many proactive policing initiatives seeing a very uneventful weekend.

On both Friday, Saturday and Sunday, (as of 3pm on Sunday) police maintained a very strong police presence at all of the events that were scheduled around the island for that period of time. Officers were visible at the liquor licensed establishments, parties, and all major social gatherings. Officers patrolled from east to west by, land and sea to maintain law and order and we can report there were no major incidents of note to report.

Clearly, there were minor incidents that took place over that period of time but there was no major and or critical incidents of note.
