Cannabis Plants Seized - On Tuesday July 26, The Bermuda Police Service seized 40 of what are believed to be cannabis plants in various stages of growth in the Radnor Road, Smiths parish area. An investigation into this seizure has commenced. This is yet another example of the community working together with the police to eradicate illegal drugs from their neighbourhoods. Members of the public can contact the Police or the independent, confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477. Anyone with information about this particular investigation is encouraged to contact Police on 295-0011.

The Bermuda Police Service is reminding the public that the Police will be vigilant on the roads and water this holiday period. Police are asking the public to exercise sound judgment when travelling on the roads as well as within their holiday environments.
Be aware when parking your vehicle on or near public docks over the Cup Match holiday. Cones and signs will be placed at Ely’s Harbour Dock and Cambridge Dock to ensure that emergency vehicles have access to these locations.
When leaving your home for the day, ensure that all doors and windows are locked and secure. All valuables should be locked in a safe or safety deposit box. By taking these few simple precautions, you can help protect your home and enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing that it is secure. Thieves are generally opportunists looking for an easy target.
