Missing Juvenile: Santina Harvey - Police are appealing for the public’s assistance in locating 17 year old Santina Harvey. Ms. Harvey [pictured, click photo to enlarge] has been in contact with her mother but has not returned home since Friday, July 15th. The teenager is described as 5’5” tall of slim build with a dark complexion and pierced ears. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 17 year old Santina Harvey is encouraged to contact the Vulnerable Persons Unit on 295-0011.

Witness Appeal: Assault

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to an assault that occurred sometime between 2am and 2:30am on Saturday, July 16th in the Washington Street, Pembroke area where an 18 year old Pembroke man was injured by a group of young men. In particular, detectives are interested in speaking with anyone who may have been in the vicinity of Mount Saint Agnes Academy around the time of the incident and saw any suspicious individuals or activity. The victim remains on a general ward at the hospital. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing. Any witnesses or anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.

Update: Serious Injury RTC in Devonshire

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to a reported serious single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury that occurred around 3:30am Sunday on Montpelier Road in Devonshire near the junction with First Avenue involving a motorcycle. The rider, a 26 year old Pembroke man, was injured and at last check was in stable condition on a general ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing. Any witnesses to this collision are encouraged to contact PC Preston Gill on 295-0011.

Weekend Police Activity

Over the weekend there was 1 person arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. Police officers also arrested 28 people for outstanding warrants and conducted 11 liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
