Police Seize Cannabis Plants - Around 2:30pm on Thursday July 14, Police attended the Tudor Hill, Southampton area
after a report of cannabis cultivation. As a result, officers seized a quantity of what is believed to be cannabis plants [pictured right]. Inquiries are ongoing and members of the public are encouraged to report any suspicious activities in the area to the main Police line at 295-0011.

The Bermuda Police Service Financial Crime Unit would like to remind the public to be vigilant with regard to phishing e-mails and scams that attempt to obtain personal information or money.
In particular, a fake e-mail is currently circulating locally claiming to be from the US State Department. The apparently personalised e-mail says that the recipient has been selected to receive a ‘United States Permanent Resident Card’ for a sum of money.
However, the US State Department does not solicit funds by e-mail.
It is important not to release any personal information or money to unknown individuals who attempt to make contact through unsolicited e-mails.
