Burglary - Around 10:20am on Saturday, police attended a reported burglary at a St. George’s restaurant. It appears that sometime between 11:30pm on Friday and 9:45am on Saturday, an unknown culprit or culprits gained entry into the premises. The culprit(s) stole a quantity of alcohol including bottles of ‘Moscato’ wine, ‘Smirnoff’ vodka, ‘Grey Goose’ vodka and ‘Hennessy’ cognac. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Weekend Police Activity
Over the weekend there were 2 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. Police officers also arrested 38 people for outstanding warrants and conducted 16 liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
