Witness Appeal: Shooting on Court Street - Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the confirmed firearm incident that took place at 11:28pm on Monday on Court Street in Pembroke outside of Swinging Doors. At last check the 26 year old woman injured was listed in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. The 23 year old man who received a superficial injury was treated at the hospital and later released. Anyone who may have seen persons acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident or anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the main police number 295-0011 or the independent confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.
Road Safety Advisory
The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the motoring public to slow down and to drive as well as ride responsibly on the island’s roads. Additionally, we urge those traveling in cars to use their seatbelts at all times and make sure any children traveling in the vehicle are appropriately restrained. Those traveling on motorcycles should always fasten their helmets and avoid making a third lane.
