Injury RTC in Warwick - Around 6:50pm on Thursday, police received a report of a road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Ord Road and Cobbs Hill Road in Warwick. It appears that a grey motorcycle and an orange Yamaha auxiliary cycle or motorcycle was traveling along Ord Road when they collided at the junction. The rider of the grey motorcycle, a 50 year old Devonshire man, was injured and attended King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment; however his injuries are not considered serious. The grey motorcycle received moderate damage. The rider of the orange Yamaha auxiliary cycle or motorcycle, described as a black male wearing a white T-shirt and red shorts, left the scene following the collision. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact PC Chiquita Simmons on 295-0011.
