Firearm Recovered - The Bermuda Police Service can now report that officers seized a firearm during a search at a private residence in the Friswell’s Hill area of Pembroke on Friday afternoon, 24th June 2011. A 22 year old Pembroke man was arrested in connection with the firearm which is a hand gun. No further information can be released at this time while police continue their enquiries, starting with a forensic examination of the firearm to establish whether it is linked to any previous crimes.

Weekend Police Activity

Over the weekend there were 6 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. Police officers also arrested 33 people for outstanding warrants and conducted 24 liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
