Damage Only RTC in Devonshire - Around 10:50am on Monday, police attended a reported damage only road traffic collision on South Road in Devonshire near the junction with Tee Street involving a motorcycle and a police car. It appears that both vehicles were traveling along South Road when they collided; however neither the officer driving the police car or the motorcyclist, a 25 year old Paget man, was injured. The motorcycle was extensively damaged while the police car sustained moderate damage. Traffic was diverted away from the scene for approximately an hour. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Advisory: Financial Offer Scam

The Bermuda Police Service Financial Crime Unit would like to advise the public of another online scam which is circulating locally.

Weekend Police Activity

Over the weekend there were 6 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. Police officers also arrested 27 people for outstanding warrants and conducted 17 liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
