Update: Man Arrested on Suspicion of Sexual Assault - The 29 year old man arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on Saturday, May 28th remains in custody in connection with both incidents reported Saturday morning; the first occurring in the Paynters Road, Walsingham Lane, Harrington Sound Road Hamilton parish area at 8:25am and the second in the South Road, Watch Hill Park Smith's parish area around 9am. Inquiries are ongoing and any persons who witnessed or may have any information about these incidents is encouraged to contact detectives at the Southside Police Station at telephone number 293-2222 or the independent, confidential Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).
Injury RTC in Pembroke
Around 4:15pm on Saturday, Police responded to a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Parsons Road in Pembroke involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling along Parsons Road and the pedestrian, a 16 year old male, was crossing a pedestrian crossing in the area when the collision occurred. The rider of the motorcycle and the pedestrian were injured; however their injuries are not considered serious. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Injury RTC in Devonshire
Around 10:05am on Saturday, Police responded to a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on South Road in Devonshire near the junction with Devonshire Bay Road. It appears that a pedal cyclist was traveling along South Road when he was involved in a collision. As a result the 57 year old man was injured; however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Inquiries are underway.
Impaired Driving & Damage Only RTC in Paget
Around 3:45am on Saturday, Police responded to a reported damage only road traffic collision near the junction of South Road and Middle Road in Paget involving two cars. It appears that both vehicles were traveling along South Road when they collided. The drivers of both cars were not injured; however both vehicles were extensively damaged. One of the car drivers was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and detained after failing the alco-analyser test. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
