Update: Injury RTC Berry Hill Road, Paget Area - Around 4:20pm on Wednesday, Police and first responders attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Crow Lane (north round-a-bout) and Berry Hill Road in Paget involving a car and an auxiliary cycle. It appears that the car was negotiating the round-a-bout and the auxiliary cycle was traveling along Crow Lane when the vehicles collided. As a result the auxiliary cycle rider, a 16 year old boy, was temporarily trapped under the car. He was extricated and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of arm & leg injuries which are not considered life threatening. Traffic was diverted away from the scene for approximately an hour while a traffic collision investigator assessed the incident. Inquiries are ongoing and any witnesses to this collision are asked to contact PC Delfi Burrows on 295-0011.

Burglary Advisory

There have been several reported burglaries in the Pembroke area recently. In most cases nothing was taken; however there were two instances where a quantity of loose change and jewelry were stolen respectively.

The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries by making sure windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious vehicles, activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.
