Weekend Police Activity - The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their cooperation over the Easter weekend. There were no major incidents reported.
Officers conducted 313 stop and searches at various locations from Friday, April 22nd through Sunday, April 24th, arresting 38 people for a variety of offences and issuing 44 traffic tickets.
In addition, from 12am Friday, April 22nd to 7am Monday, April 25th 5 people were arrested on suspicion of impaired driving with 14 reports of loud music. Police officers also arrested 48 people for outstanding warrants and conducted 56 liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
