Witness Appeal: Fatal RTC - Police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to the fatal road traffic collision that occurred around 6pm Thursday, April 7th 2011 at the junction of Middle Road and Parsons Lane in Devonshire, claiming the life of 49 year old Timothy Pedro. Anyone that may have seen this collision or have any information about it is encouraged to contact PC Steven Darrell on 299-4388.

Town Hall Meeting For Western Parish Residents Tomorrow

Members of the public living in the western parishes are invited to attend a Town Hall Meeting held by Western Commanding Officer, Acting Chief Inspector Mark Clarke and members of the Western Division at 7pm on Tuesday, April 12th 2011, at Port Royal Primary School located on Church Road in Southampton.

Officers will be addressing the western community on what the Service has accomplished during the past six months and the vision for the next six months as well as the objectives of the Western Community Action Team. There will also be an open discussion on concerns raised by the public.

In a collaborative effort towards making the community safer the feedback, ideas and attendance of area residents is very important to us. We look forward to seeing as many as possible at this meeting.

Weekend Police Activity

Over the weekend there were 6 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. Police officers also arrested 24 people for outstanding warrants and conducted 33 liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
