Damage Only RTC in Devonshire - Around 9:10pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Roberts Avenue in Devonshire near the junction with Parsons Road and found the vehicle involved unoccupied. Details about how the collision occurred are unclear at this time; however it appears that a jeep was traveling along Roberts Avenue when the driver lost control. As a result the vehicle overturned. The occupants of the vehicle, a 23 year old woman and a 27 year old man, were not injured; however the jeep was extensively damaged. Traffic was diverted away from the scene for approximately an hour. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Rajiv Bailey on 295-0011.
Burglary Advisory
The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries by making sure windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.
