Speed Checks & Arrest for Outstanding Warrants - At 11:55pm on Saturday, Police were conducting speed checks along Kindley Field Road in St. George’s when they had cause to stop a motorist regarding a traffic offence. Further inquiries at the scene revealed the 34 year old Southampton man had outstanding warrants. As a result he was arrested and detained.

Police officers conducted mobile patrols in various areas of the island over the weekend. Areas patrolled included but were not limited to:

• Cedar Hill / St. Mary’s Road, Warwick
• Dudley Hill, Paget
• Cricket Lane, Sandys parish
• Somerset Road / Cambridge Road, Sandys parish
• Court Street / Angle Street , Pembroke
• Cedar Park Road, Devonshire
• Middle Town Drive / Curving Avenue, Pembroke
• South Road, Southampton
• Ord Road, Paget
• Spanish Point Road, Pembroke
• Knapton Hill, Smith’s parish
• North Shore Road / Jennings Road, Hamilton parish

Officers also conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises over the weekend.
