Police Patrols Find All Quiet Overnight - Police officers conducted mobile patrols in various areas of the island overnight with no reports of any unusual activity. Areas patrolled from 7pm Tuesday, February 15th – 7am Wednesday, February 16th included but were not limited to:

  • St. Monica’s Road / The Glebe Road, Pembroke
  • Court Street / Angle Street, Pembroke
  • Middle Town Drive / Curving Avenue, Pembroke
  • South Road, Southampton
  • Spanish Point Road, Pembroke
  • Jennings Road / Holly Lane, Smith’s parish
  • Ord Road, Paget
  • Mill Reach Road / Mill Reach Lane, Pembroke
  • Winton Hill Lane, Hamilton parish
  • Sun Valley Road, Warwick
  • Pain Lane East, St. George’s
  • Belvedere Road, Devonshire

Arrests Made For Outstanding Warrants

On Tuesday February 15th 2011 a total of eight individuals, five men and three women ranging in age from 18 – 49 years old, were arrested for outstanding warrants.

In one of those incidents Police responded to a report of suspicious individuals hanging around the George’s Bay Road, Sandys parish area at 5:25pm on Tuesday. As a result an 18 year old Pembroke man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and detained. Three other young men in the area were dispersed before officers resumed patrol.
