Driving Whilst Impaired - At 12:25am on Sunday, Police were on mobile patrol on North Shore Road in Devonshire when they observed a motorcycle traveling west swerving in an erratic manner. The man was eventually stopped and officers observed the rider’s eyes to be glazed. He also appeared unsteady on his feet and his breath smelled of alcohol. As a result he was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst impaired and taken to Hamilton Police Station where he was breath tested. The suspect failed the breath test and was subsequently detained.

Police are reminding the public if they must drink do not drive. Officers will be ever vigilant for offenders and they will be arrested and put before the courts.
