Injury RTC - Around 1:20am on Sunday, Police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Marsh Folly Road in Pembroke near the junction with Dutton Avenue. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling along Marsh Folly Road when the rider, a 26 year old woman, lost control. She was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. The motorcycle received relatively minor damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact PC Lorna Wright on 295-0011.
Burglary
Around 10:25pm on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Brimstone Hill, Devonshire residence. It appears that sometime between 8:45am and 10:10pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole several watches. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 11:10am on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Knapton Estates Road, Smith’s parish residence. It appears that sometime between 7:40am and 9:30am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a 27”Apple I-Mac computer and a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Advisory - Burglaries
The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries. All residents should make sure windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time. Also, before retiring to bed at night all windows & doors should be locked with any valuables secured out of sight. The public is encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.
