Damage Only RTC - Around 6:05am on Wednesday, Police responded to a reported single vehicle damage only collision on South Road in Paget in the vicinity of the Coral Beach Club. It appears that a car was traveling along South Road when the driver, a 39 year old Southampton man, lost control. As a result the vehicle went over an embankment. The driver was not injured; however the car received moderate damage.
Injury RTC
Around 9:25pm on Tuesday, Police and first responders attended a reported serious road traffic collision resulting in injury on Trimingham Road in Paget involving a motorcycle and an auxiliary cycle. It appears that both vehicles were traveling along Trimingham Road when they collided. The rider of the motorcycle, a 19 year old Smith’s parish man and the rider of the auxiliary cycle, a 22 year old Paget woman were injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. Both vehicles were extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact PC Seymour Foote on 295-0011.
Around 2:45pm on Tuesday, Police and first responders attended a reported serious single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Highwood Lane. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling along Harbour Road when the rider, a 54 year old Paget man, lost control and collided with a utility pole. The Paget man was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check he was in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact PC Stephen Paynter on 295-0011.
