Injury RTC - At 3:45am on Saturday, Police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Lighthouse Hill in St. George’s near the junction with Great Bay Road. Details about the collision involving a motorcycle are unclear at this time; however the motorcycle rider, a 37 year old Hamilton parish man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact PC Anthony Thurab at the Southside Police Station on 293-2222.
Around 4:15pm on Friday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Paget outside the Paget Post Office involving a car and an auxiliary cycle. It appears that both vehicles were traveling along Middle Road when they collided. The rider of the auxiliary cycle, a 16 year old young man from Southampton sustained a knee injury. The driver of the car, a 52 year old Pembroke man, was not injured. Both vehicles were damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Witness Appeal – Fatal RTC
The investigation into the fatal road traffic collision that occurred around 1:15am Saturday, April 17th 2010 on North Shore Road in Devonshire near the Mid Atlantic Boat Club resulting in the death of 41 year old Andre Hendrickson of Southampton is ongoing.
Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who may have any information about this incident to contact PC Shem Obeius on 295-0011 or Inspector Steven Lightbourne on 299-4507.
