Damage Only RTC - At 7:15am on Monday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on North Shore Road in Devonshire near the junction with Dock Hill. It appears that a SUV was traveling along North Shore Road when the driver, a 40 year old Smith’s parish man, lost control and collided with a wall. The driver was not injured; however the SUV received extensive front end damage.
Injury RTC
Around 8:55am on Saturday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Spice Hill Road in Warwick near the junction with Westmount Lane involving a car and an auxiliary cycle. It appears that the car and the auxiliary cycle were traveling along Spice Hill Road when the vehicles collided. The unknown auxiliary cycle rider immediately fled the scene on foot. The driver of the car, a 33 year old Pembroke woman, was not injured. Officers searched the area for the auxiliary cycle rider without success. Both vehicles received extensive front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 3:15am on Saturday, Police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Salt Kettle Road. It appears that a van was traveling along Harbour Road when the driver, a 25 year old Warwick man, lost control and collided with a hedge. The Warwick man was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. The van received front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
