Robbery

Around 4:45pm on Friday, Police responded to a reported robbery that took place in the Transport Control Department (TCD) parking lot in Pembroke. It appears that a security guard was accosted by an unknown man who took a bag containing a quantity of cash and attempted to make good his escape. The suspect was apprehended and the surrounding area was searched by Police to locate the bag and its contents. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.
